Memoria is a structured carry-all: wide enough to hold the essentials of a working day, resolved enough to belong to the evening. It does not explain itself with hardware, zips, or logos. It explains itself once, clearly, with the Fibula.
The body is cut from full-grain leather in a single dominant colour. Deep, unlined, slightly burnished at the edges. No embossing. No pattern. The leather speaks through its own surface: the quiet irregularities of hide, the way it responds to light, the way it will change over years of use into something that cannot be bought new.
Across the front face of the bag runs the Fibula band: a continuous horizontal strip of hand-finished bronze, flush-mounted, running the full width of the body. It is not a strap. It is not a buckle. It is the sentence. At the exact centre of the band, the bronze widens into a perfect circle: the medallion that anchors the composition and marks the piece as unmistakably part of the series.
The hardware is bronze throughout: the two D-rings at the shoulder, the clasp at the top, the rivets at the base corners. Every piece hand-finished to the same tone as the Fibula band, so the metal reads as one continuous material decision, not an assembly of parts.
The handles are rolled leather, stitched tight, slightly stiff when new. They will soften exactly as much as they need to.
Memoria does not commemorate a moment. It accumulates them, one carry at a time, until the leather holds the shape of everything it has ever been asked to carry.
